Insect and Rodent Parts
The US Department of Health publishes a booklet called "The Food Defect Action Levels," listing what are, according to the FDA, acceptable and unacceptable "current levels for natural or unavoidable defects in food." For chocolate and chocolate liquor, tolerance levels for "insect, rodent, and other natural contaminants" allowed are up to 120 insect fragments per cup (8 oz) or 2 rodent hairs per cup. That means a chocolate bar you eat may contain one rodent hair and 16 insect parts.
